The Nominating Committee is pleased to present the following nominees for two available three-year volunteer positions on the ACFCU Board of Directors.
Mr. Murray, current Board Chair, joined the Credit Union’s Board of Directors in 2004. He hails from the Arlington Police Department where he serves as the Deputy Chief of Police. He brings with him extensive background in law enforcement as well as participation in numerous associations (the International Association of Chiefs of Police, the Virginia Association of Chiefs of Police, and the Georgetown University Alumni Association to name a few). Mr. Murray, a long time Arlington resident, wishes to continue to serve on the Arlington Community FCU Board of Directors because he wants, “To help ensure that Arlington Community FCU continues its long history of prudent fiscal management while maintaining exceptional member service.”
Originally from St. Louis, MO, Max Montague has lived in the DC metro area for the past 17 years, residing in Arlington and Falls Church for the past seven. He holds a BBA in International Business from The George Washington University and currently serves as Director of Capture and Senior Program Manager at Enlighten IT Consulting, a wholly owned subsidiary of Huntington Ingalls Industries, a publicly traded defense contractor. Mr. Montague has over 13 years of professional experience in corporate strategy, business development, marketing, and program management. He has been a Board member for the past three years at Arlington Community Federal Credit Union and has served as Chairman of the Supervisory Committee for the past six and a half years; he was previously President and Treasurer of his condo Board. Max is passionate about volunteering his time to support community institutions.
Additional nominations may be made by petition, which much contain the signatures of one percent of the ACFCU membership as of October 31, 2020. Petitions and complete application packets must be submitted to the Nominating committee by February 26, 2021.
