Our Response to Coronavirus

When COVID-19 hit our region, Arlington Community FCU quickly developed plans to protect our members and staff, and care for the most vulnerable members of our community.

We designed a wide range of financial solutions, including options to skip payments and emergency loans, to support members who were facing unexpected financial challenges.

Operational solutions

We swiftly adapted our branch operations to ensure member safety and seamlessly pivoted our administrative workforce to a remote environment.

Community Support

  • We directed $15,000 to the most urgent needs of our nonprofits who were on the front lines.
  • As part of our Care for the Caretakers Initiative, we sent meals to critical community helpers, including the Arlington Food Assistance Center and Virginia Hospital Center.
  • Our staff volunteered to serve local needs and we worked directly with Volunteer Arlington to help lead the activation of community volunteers.
